Concrete

What our concrete work covers

We pour and finish concrete for the spots around your home where it makes sense. That means walkways, driveway aprons, curbs, and pads for a shed, trash cans or a small patio.

Concrete pairs well with asphalt. A concrete apron or a curb along the edge gives a new driveway a sharp, finished look. Like our paving, it starts with good base prep, so it stays level through freeze and thaw.

How it works

3 simple steps

  1. Step 1

    Request your free quote

Call or send the form. We look at the spot, talk through size and finish, and give you a free written quote.

  2. Step 2

    We form, pour and finish

We dig out and prepare the base, set the forms, pour the concrete and finish the surface. Then it cures before use.

  3. Step 3

    Neat, solid concrete

You get straight edges, a clean finish and solid footing that ties your property together.

Problems it fixes

Problems concrete work fixes

Heaved or broken walkways

Frost and tree roots lift slabs and leave trip hazards. Central New Jersey winters make it worse every year.

Crumbling aprons

The spot where your drive meets the street takes a beating from plows and salt.

No level spot to set things

Sheds, trash cans and grills sink into soft ground or sit crooked.

Edges that break off

Pavement without a firm edge can crumble. A curb holds it in place.

FAQ

Concrete questions

Still have questions? Call (908) 720-2444. We pick up.

Do you pour concrete driveways?+

Most of our driveway work is asphalt. Ask us about concrete for your drive and we will tell you honestly if it is a good fit for your home and budget.

How long before I can walk on new concrete?+

Concrete needs time to cure. Light foot traffic is usually fine after a day or two, and vehicles need longer. We will give you clear timing for your job.

Will road salt hurt my concrete?+

Salt can be hard on concrete, especially in its first winter. Using less salt, or sand for traction, helps it last. Ask us for tips when the job is done.

How much does concrete work cost?+

It depends on the size, the base prep needed and access to the spot. Your quote is free and written, so you know the cost before we start.
